Plan regression

If test-case generation is already in your toolkit, planning is the next step. Before a regression run, ask AI what's important to check:

This sprint we changed:
- Cart: new discount calculation for bulk orders
- Authorization: added login via Face ID
- Notifications: new type — push for order status

Which modules besides the changed ones should be included in regression?
Why might they be affected?

AI will explain the connections: discounts affect the total → affects the payment module → affects receipts and history. You won't forget the dependent modules.

Prioritize test cases

When time is short and you need to choose what to test:

We have 200 test cases, time for 50.
Release tomorrow. Main changes: redesign of the checkout
page and new promo code logic.

Which categories of test cases should be prioritized first?
On what principle?

AI will give the logic: critical purchase path > promo codes (directly affected) > adjacent modules > regression of the rest.

Analyze bugs after the sprint

Here are the bugs we found this sprint:
- Button doesn't work in Safari
- Wrong discount calculation when quantity > 10
- Form doesn't validate when text is pasted via Ctrl+V
- Avatar doesn't update without page reload
- Search doesn't find products with Cyrillic text

What does this tell us about product quality?
Which areas are risky?
What should be automated first?

AI will find patterns: cross-browser issues, input handling issues, caching issues — and explain what to watch for in the next sprint.

Write a test plan

We need to test a new module: online appointment
booking with a doctor. The user picks a specialist,
date, time, and gets a confirmation by email.

Write a test plan:
- What to test (areas)
- Types of testing (functional, boundary values, UX...)
- Risks
- What can be skipped if time is short

You don't need to write from scratch — AI gives the structure, you fill in the project details.

Make sense of a technical bug

A developer sent a stack trace and you don't understand what's there:

Here's an error from the logs: [paste text]

Explain in simple terms what happened.
What scenarios should I check to reproduce this in the UI?

AI will translate the technical into the understandable and tell you which angle to approach from in the interface.
